Peverell's Tower
Dover Castle
Sleeps 2
A fair maiden with golden tresses waiting to be rescued by a handsome prince – as in the best classic fairytales – sadly won’t be part of the inventory for a stay in this romantic 13th century tower. The drawbridge has gone too but as compensation, the Tower oozes with character and has fantastic views. A new roof terrace gives guests an unsurpassed panorama over the channel from a unique and private location. Guests here really do feel like lords of all they survey!
Peverell’s Tower has a large kitchen diner, a sitting room and very large double bedroom all with unsurpassed views. There is a bathroom with walk in shower on the ground floor.
Our oldest holiday cottage, this very special property will instil a sense of awe and history as soon as you step inside. Climb the winding stairway to find a beautifully converted holiday home where as many original features as possible have been retained, including ‘graffiti’ from a previous occupant, thought to be a 16th century prisoner of the tower!
