Building Stone Resources of the UK

This large format, fold-out sheet provides a 1:1,000,000 geological map and guide of the indigenous UK building stones, along with quarry sites and representative buildings, and is designed to be used as a teaching aid and visual reference. The map is published by the British Geological Survey (Natural Environment Research Council), with assistance from English Heritage, Historic Scotland, Cadw, the Stone Federation, British Stone and others.
