Internships
A number of different types of salaried internships are offered by English Heritage, providing training in the field of historic parks and gardens. Find out more about each internship by clicking on the left hand side titles.
Gardens and Landscape Team Intern:
Each year, one intern is given the opportunity to work for a 12 month period with the Gardens and Landscape Team.
English Heritage Trainee Gardener:
A one year Trainee Gardener post is available at English Heritage's Down House, Charles Darwin’s home.
Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Trainee Gardeners:
Practical training opportunities(placements, secondments and continuing professional development) based in a wide range of historic and botanic gardens, including some English Heritage sites, are available through the Historic and Botanic Garden Bursary Scheme.
