Procurement

English Heritage spends approximately £65million annually on a wide range of goods, services and works. These include the requirements of any normal business plus more specialist requirements such as conservation of ancient and historic buildings, consultancy services, maintenance services, grounds maintenance, general construction, public relation services and print etc.

It is our normal practice to award business through competition, seeking best value for money to support the key elements of central Government policy. We are also required to comply with the European Union Procurement Directives and the World Trade Organisation Government Procurement Agreement.

The English Heritage Procurement Portal offers Suppliers the ability to view contract announcements in real time.
