About the Building
We are proud of our Victorian Grade II listed building complete with walled garden.

What we do here
At Brooklands, we are responsible for the historic environment in the East of England region, which  is the second largest by area of the nine English Heritage regions. Predominantly rural, it has one of the fastest growing populations in the country with the major growth areas such as the Thames Gateway and the London-Stansted-Cambridge-Peterborough corridor.

Brooklands is also the headquarters for the English Heritage Finance and Heritage Protection for the East Territory which incorporates the East Midlands regional office. It also covers Archaelogy investigation and photography throughout England.
